Flowers were first traded and sold in 1854 by the first member of the Jones family and the business has continued through to present day. The current 'Jones' family member at Barry Jones Florist, is the fifth generation of florist in the family - quite an accolade! The business of flowers is 'in his blood' and is not just something that has been learnt at college. He has been going up to Covent Garden flower Market since he was a small boy and has seen the market change greatly over the years, as well as moving from the old Covent Garden market site to its current location in Nine Elms, London.
My team and I strive to provide the highest quality floristry as well as superb customer care. With 170 years of experience, we will be able to deal with whatever request you may have for any occasion, no matter how big or small it is.
Most of our stock is still sourced direct from New Covent Garden Flower Market at least twice a week to ensure it is as fresh as possible for our customers. We are known in the local area for our top-quality flowers and plants.
Over the years, Barry Jones Florists has exhibited and won a gold, 2 silver and a silver gilt at the Chelsea Flower show. We have provided flowers for corporate functions including one at the top of the Gherkin Tower in London- a highlight indeed. Wedding work is always challenging, enjoyable and rewarding to ensure that everything is perfect for the bride and groom on their special day. Equally so for funeral tributes as this is just as important to be able to provide the family and friends with the tributes for their loved one.
Whatever you want in flowers or plants we will be able to make it! Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too unusual, so just give us a call and have a chat with us on 01580 756660, or drop us an email at barryjonesflorist@gmail.com
